Penn State Laureate to present 'Art and Politics' on Sept. 25

John Champagne, Penn State Laureate, will visit Penn State Schuylkill to deliver a presentation regarding artists' role during times of political distress. Champagne uses the contradictory relationship between Italian artist Corrado Cagli and the fascist government that supported him as a starting point for engaging his audience in a discussion of the responsibility of the artist in times of political unrest.

Penn State Schuylkill to host new Smithsonian exhibit, 'Outbreak'

Penn State Schuylkill will host the new Smithsonian Exhibit, “Outbreak: Epidemics in a Connected World,” for a three-month period beginning Oct. 1. The Smithsonian’s exhibit exploring the origins of zoonotic disease and humans’ role in spreading animal-borne viruses will be available for a three-year period.
