Transfer students come to Penn State Schuylkill after completing a two-year degree program elsewhere, or after deciding another institution isn't their best fit after just a semester or two. Wherever you are in your college journey, we're here to help you succeed as a future Penn Stater.
Transferring to Penn State Schuylkill may provide you with a significant cost savings while also giving you the chance to earn a world-class Penn State degree. Whether you choose to earn your degree from Penn State Schuylkill or participate in our 2+2 degree plan and graduate from another Penn State campus, including University Park, Penn State Schuylkill may just be the right place for you.
Are you considered a transfer student?
If you have attempted 18 or more credits at another college or university after high school graduation, you will be considered a transfer student.
Will your credits transfer?
We can help you determine how transfer credits may work into a Penn State degree. The first step in this process is to use our online transfer credit tool. If you still have questions after evaluating your credits with this tool please email our Office of Admission to set up an appointment with admissions/academic advising.
