Are you an Adult Student?
If you meet one or more of the following criteria, then you are considered an adult student at Penn State:
- 24 years of age or older
- Assuming multiple adult roles such as parent, spouse/partner, employee, and student
- Veteran of the armed services
- Active duty service member
- Returning to school after four or more years of employment, homemaking, or other activity
Understanding Financial Aid
All students must file a FREE APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL STUDENT AID (FAFSA) in order to be considered for grants and scholarships. Penn State's school code is 003329.
Pennsylvania residents may also apply to be considered for the PA State Grant.
