Rick Brazier, senior associate dean for faculty and research in the Office of the Vice President for Commonwealth Campuses, has been named interim dean of Penn State’s 14-campus University College.
Penn State Schuylkill has named nearly 300 — nearly half of the campus's student body — students as fall 2021 dean’s list designees. To earn a dean’s list designation, students must end the semester with a 3.5 GPA or higher. The campus will celebrate the students’ accomplishments at a ceremony held on Monday, April 4.
Penn State Schuylkill has released its community engagement programming schedule for spring 2022, including pre-college, professional development, and entrepreneurship courses. Enrolled students who are noncompliant with the weekly required testing will lose access to Canvas until they become compliant. Continued noncompliance will result in additional disciplinary sanctions, up to and including conduct suspension upon the completion of a formal student conduct process.

Honorees are selected based upon the impact they have in their communities, outstanding professional achievements, and embodiment of Penn State values. This year’s cohort includes Michael G. Messina (class of 1979), Scott C. Price (class of 1985), and Abigayle Kaiser (class of 2020).
