Congratulations on your admission to Penn State Schuylkill!
New Student Orientation (NSO) assists first-year students with their transition to Penn State by introducing them to the academic culture and campus resources.
All new first-year Penn State students must participate in NSO. During NSO, you will:
- meet with students, faculty, and staff;
- begin to develop academic and co-curricular goals;
- become familiar with campus resources; and
- schedule courses for your first semester to begin putting your academic plan into action.
How do I prepare for NSO?
Preparing for NSO is simple! Just complete the two steps below and keep an eye on your email for a link where you will register for a NSO date.
- Access your NSO Task List and complete all of the outlined steps.
- Complete Online Placement Tests.
Students who have completed their ALEKS Math Placement Testing can register for NSO here.
