Catherine Fiorillo, associate teaching professor of theatre and speech at Penn State Schuylkill, has written, produced, and starred in a short film in collaboration with director David “DJ” Higgins, assistant teaching professor of film/video and music. “Sanitize This!” has earned 15 awards thus far and premiered locally on Thursday, May 20.
Valerie Schrader, associate professor of communication arts and sciences and Honors Program coordinator at Penn State Schuylkill, was recently named to the Distinguished Honors Faculty Program of the Schreyer Honors College for a term of two years. Schrader will develop innovative programming to enrich the Schreyer Scholars experience across the University.
During its quarterly meeting this spring, the Penn State Schuylkill Advisory Board approved on-campus housing rates for the 2021-22 academic year. In 2019, the College of Nursing and Penn State Schuylkill announced the delivery of the college’s four-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at the commonwealth campus. Fast forward to early 2021 and the first cohort is poised to begin the curriculum’s highly structured sequence of nursing courses.
