One of the first graduates of Penn State’s shared Corporate Communication program, Shawnna Meyers, participated in her commencement this past weekend, and she attributes much of her success to her professional e-portfolio. Marcus A. Whitehurst, vice provost for Educational Equity at Penn State, will serve as the spring 2016 commencement speaker at Penn State Schuylkill. The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. May 7 on the campus green.

On Saturday, May 21, the Penn State Schuylkill Alumni Society will co-sponsor the seventh annual Penn State Day at Knoebels Amusement Park in Elysburg, Pennsylvania. The event is open to all Penn State alumni, family, and friends.
The Student Professionalization committee will be hosting a career panel March 21, 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. in room 101 of the Classroom Building at Penn State Schuylkill. Eight local business and community leaders will discuss their career paths and professional experiences and then take questions from the student audience.
