Information related to immunizations
Immunizations offer safe and effective protection from vaccine-preventable diseases. The United States is experiencing re-emergence of these diseases, in part, due to factors such as non-immunized and under-immunized persons and global travel. University Health Services at Penn State strongly supports the use of vaccines to protect the health of our individual students and our campus community.

As you prepare for your college career, there are several medical requirements that you need to complete. The Pennsylvania State University requires all degree-seeking students to be adequately immunized against measles, mumps, and rubella and to submit their immunization information electronically. You will be able to access the secure website either before you receive your notice to attend the New Student Orientation (using your Friends of Penn State access account ID) or after you have registered for classes (using your Penn State access account ID).
Visit the Penn State University Health Services web site for online reporting.
These requirements must be met in order to register for your second semester at Penn State.
You will also find links on this site to information regarding the meningitis immunization and other recommended immunizations.
We encourage you to print a copy of all reported information for your records.
Please call 814-863-1975, or email [email protected] if you have any questions or experience problems submitting your information online.
If you have health concerns that require ongoing monitoring, please have your current healthcare provider send copies of your medical records to the Health Center on your campus. When you arrive on campus, you should call to schedule an initial visit with one of the clinicians.
