Penn State Laureate to present 'Art and Politics' on Sept. 25

John Champagne, Penn State Laureate, will visit Penn State Schuylkill to deliver a presentation regarding artists' role during times of political distress. Champagne uses the contradictory relationship between Italian artist Corrado Cagli and the fascist government that supported him as a starting point for engaging his audience in a discussion of the responsibility of the artist in times of political unrest.

College of Nursing to offer master of science in nursing degree at Schuylkill

Local nurses who have their bachelor of science in nursing (B.S.N.) degree will now have the opportunity to earn their master of science in nursing (M.S.N.) degree to become a nurse practitioner (NP) in the Schuylkill County. Penn State College of Nursing recently announced that Penn State Schuylkill in Schuylkill Haven will deliver its popular Nurse Practitioner master of science in nursing degree program beginning fall 2019.

Penn State Schuylkill announces its 2018 alumni award winners

Penn State Schuylkill will host its annual Alumni Awards Dinner on campus Friday, Nov. 2, honoring Stephen Roman, recipient of the Outstanding Alumnus award; Jeffrey Yourshaw, recipient of the Outstanding Young Alumnus award; and Harold Aurand, recipient of the Pride and Spirit award.
