Penn State Schuylkill’s LionLaunch Business Plan Competition slated for March 15

Penn State Schuylkill's LionLaunch Business Plan Competition is slated to occur March 15. This event allows local and campus community members to pitch their business ideas for a chance to win up to $5,000 in seed money. This project is made possible by Invent Penn State, a University-wide initiative that aims to foster entrepreneurial growth within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Penn State announces Global Programs Travel Grants 2017 competition results

Global Programs' fall 2017 travel grants have been awarded in three grant categories: Faculty Travel Grants, Transformational Travel Grants, and Graduate Student Travel Grants. Based on the review committees’ evaluations and recommendations, 30 applicants were selected for funding support. The awardees will travel to 19 countries on four continents.

Nicole Andel appointed Faculty Scholar

Nicole Andel, associate professor of teaching in English at Penn State Schuylkill, has been named one of six Faculty Scholars across the University by Penn State's Office for General Education.
