About Penn State Schuylkill's B.A. in Corporate Communication
The Penn State Corporate Communication Bachelor of Arts program will prepare you for various strategic communication roles in business, nonprofit, and government workplace settings. Graduates of the program hold titles such as:
- public relations professional,

- speech and copywriter,
- public information officer,
- political aide,
- marketing communication manager,
- and event planner.
This program is distinguished by its cross-disciplinary coursework, including classes in communication, business, and technology.
Internships and Co-Op
We prepare our students for the job market and include a one-semester internship as part of the curriculum. For those students wanting an even richer career-focused experience, students majoring in Corporate Communications will be eligible to participate in Penn State Schuylkill Co-Op. Corporate Communication majors have completed internships in a variety of positions, such as:

Student internships have taken place in the local area, surrounding counties, and in major metropolitan areas.
Undergraduate Research
Students have the opportunity to participate in rhetorical communication research, which allows them to analyze messages from a wide variety of rhetorical texts such as films, musicals, speeches, websites, and social media pages. Many students have presented their work at state, regional, and national conferences.
Lambda Pi Eta, the National Communication Association's Honor Society
In the Corporate Communication major at Penn State Schuylkill, we value and acknowledge the great work of our student scholars. Our campus is the home of the new Alpha Epsilon Lambda chapter of Lambda Pi Eta, the National Communication Association’s official honor society.
