Complement your undergraduate degree with a sports administration certificate! This 15-credit interdisciplinary program offers students an introduction to different aspects of sports administration careers, broadly defined. Students who complete this certificate will enhance their portfolios and career opportunities to include working in the fields of sports management, business/retail, media, athletics teams, and recreational programs.
Core Curriculum
To earn a sports administration certificate, students must take a 3-credit internship with a sports-related organization and also choose 12 credits of select courses from an array of disciplines. Some opportunities for on-campus internships in the athletics department are available.
Students who earn this certificate attend classes that explore topics including:
