Schuylkill's Faculty Speakers Bureau brings Penn State experts to high schools

Penn State Schuylkill has established a Faculty Speakers Bureau that will connect faculty experts with high school classes to supplement learning and expose secondary students to world-class, university-level research. Faculty members are available to present on subjects spanning business, career preparation, health sciences, humanities, social sciences and STEM.

Penn State Schuylkill announces fifth annual Business Plan Competition

Penn State Schuylkill will host its fifth annual Business Plan Competition virtually at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 22. Aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners who live, work, volunteer, or go to school in Schuylkill County are encouraged to apply by Friday, April 2, for their chance to secure up to $5,000 in funding.

Schuylkill Co-Op wins Employers Excellence Award in Product Innovation

The Northeast Pennsylvania Manufacturers and Employers Association announced Thursday that Penn State Schuylkill has earned the 2021 Employers Excellence Award in Product Innovation for launching Penn State Schuylkill Co-Op in fall 2020. The recognition is awarded annually to a regional employer who demonstrates excellence in bringing innovative new products to market.
