Beginning with the upcoming fall semester, the Penn State Schuylkill Bookstore managed by Barnes and Noble College will transition to a digital-first experience in fall 2023 to better meet the needs of today’s busy students juggling on-the-go lifestyles.
The University College at Penn State is the collective administrative umbrella for 14 of Penn State's campuses distributed throughout the commonwealth. After experiencing issues with malware on a personal computer, Liam Ortiz gained interest in the cybersecurity field. Now a third-year cybersecurity analytics and operations student at Penn State Schuylkill, Ortiz recently completed a summer internship with Penn State Schuylkill's Information Technology Services department and served as a Teaching and Learning with Technology coach.

Barkus has dreamed of being a paralegal or lawyer since childhood and is now working toward her goals with help from Penn State Schuylkill Co-Op.
