Penn State Schuylkill hosted Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day 2013 on April 25. The campus' chapter of the Commission for Women committee hosted the event for 11 children to help them explore career options and understand what their parent(s) did on campus.
Jonathan Kukta, director of Housing and Food Services for Penn State Hazleton, and director of Food Services for Penn State Schuylkill, Wilkes-Barre and Worthington Scranton, is the recipient of the 2013 Finance and Business Quality Service/Quality People, Mentoring/Guidance Award. This award acknowledges those who have made a commitment to fellow employees by making the time to listen and advise, and take the time to counsel and provide guidance.
