This Supervision Essentials Series focuses on developing practical skills in four key areas related to successfully supervising and leading today’s individuals and teams. This Penn State program provides an excellent opportunity for newer supervisors, as well as those looking to advance to a supervisory position and move beyond the “basics” with a better understanding of supervisory skills and competencies.

This course is a $1,200 investment and includes all course materials. Discounts apply for Consortium of Co-Op Employers and Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce members; see below for details. This course is offered in hybrid format, allowing students to participate virtually via Zoom or attend the class in person at Penn State Schuylkill.
Second Session

Note: Participants do not need to complete Session One prior to enrolling in Session Two.
The "Change Contract"
This course involves a change contract, an agreement signed by the program attendee and their supervisor stating that the registrant will take the information gained during the classes and incorporate it into their workday. Jamie will follow up with emails to assure the changes have been implemented and to answer any questions the participant may have. This value-added follow up is an opportunity for registrants to consult with Jamie and share with their supervisor how the program has successfully improved their on-the-job skills.

For companies that register two or more employees or that register the same employee for both sessions, a 10% discount will be applied.
This program is offered in partnership with the Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber member price for this course is $1,100 per person/per session.
