Penn State students, faculty and staff with older versions of the id+ card are being asked to submit new photos ahead of re-carding events that will be held University-wide during the spring 2023 semester. There are multiple ways to submit a photo, and photos will be accepted from Nov. 7 through Nov. 23.
The Office of Planning, Assessment, and Institutional Research and the Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence have announced the recipients of the 2022 assessment grants. Assessment grants provide funding for activities that support academic learning outcomes assessment at Penn State, including assessment activities and action plans developed as a result of prior assessment findings.

Ava Clauser is a second-year Penn State Schuylkill student majoring in business in the accounting option. Clauser is also a Penn State Schuylkill Co-Op participant who interned this summer with Cardinal Systems Inc., a manufacturer of swimming pool and spa systems serving the United States and Canada. During her internship, Clauser learned what it means to work in accounting for a company that operates locally and internationally.

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics conference has designated Penn State Schuylkill as a Champions of Character Five-Star Institution in the silver category for the 2021-22 academic year. The organization also awarded more than a dozen student-athletes its Scholar Athletes award, and seven of Penn State Schuylkill’s 11 athletics teams received the conference’s Scholar Team award.
