Penn State Schuylkill offers Community Cinema Course

Penn State Schuylkill’s community enrichment cinema course, "Media, Manipulation, and the Demise of Public Discourse," will return in spring 2025, exploring the portrayal of mental health in film. The course includes screenings and discussions of four films, with pre-screening lectures and post-screening conversations. Classes will be held at 6 p.m. in Morgan Auditorium, with a $30 fee for community members and free admission for Penn State Schuylkill students, faculty and staff.

The exhibit is free to the public, with a special artist reception and gallery talk on Tuesday, Jan. 28. Penn State Schuylkill celebrates 90 years with anniversary event

Penn State Schuylkill celebrated its 90th anniversary on Nov. 20, bringing together more than 170 attendees, including alumni, faculty, students and community leaders, to honor nearly a century of educational impact. The event featured reflections on the campus’ history, a keynote by Penn State President Neeli Bendapudi, and performances by the Penn State Schuylkill Quartet and Chorale.
