In today's world, every student, regardless of his or her major, needs to graduate with knowledge of other cultures in order to succeed. Global programs encourage and facilitate international experiences as a means to enriching a student's total education and preparation for a professional career. With access to approximately 300 programs in 140 countries, Penn State's study abroad programs serve scores of Penn Staters each year.
For more information, log onto www.global.psu.edu and click on "Search for an Education Abroad Program." By clicking on either "Simple Search" or "Advanced Search," you can fill out information which will lead you to your most compatible programs.
It is important to remember that most global programs have a minimum GPA requirement and many have 5th semester standing requirements. Applications should be submitted by April 1 for spring programs and December 1 for fall programs.
