After securing their samples that day, they returned to the lab where they diluted their soil and smeared it on petri dishes to search for naturally occurring antibiotics. Municipalities don’t need to unleash a tweet storm to keep their citizens informed on the social network. In fact, according to Penn State researchers, municipalities that focus their tweets tend to have higher engagement with the citizens who follow their accounts.
2019-20 Penn State Laureate Bill Doan has had his artwork published in The Annals of Internal Medicine. His illustrations depict his own personal experiences with anxiety and depression and strive to help people afflicted by mental health issues realize that they are not alone.
