In February 2020, a group of Penn State Schuylkill's Microbiology 107 students took soil samples from the campus grounds. After securing their samples that day, they returned to the lab where they diluted their soil and smeared it on petri dishes to search for naturally occurring antibiotics. Followers may tune out when municipalities tweet too much

Municipalities don’t need to unleash a tweet storm to keep their citizens informed on the social network. In fact, according to Penn State researchers, municipalities that focus their tweets tend to have higher engagement with the citizens who follow their accounts.
