Lisa Cecchini is the financial aid and veterans benefits coordinator at Penn State Schuylkill. As coordinator, her responsibilities include assisting new and current students with filing the free application for student aid (FAFSA), certifying veterans for their benefits, and leading the Schuylkill Scholarship Committee.
Before coming to Penn State Schuylkill in 2010, she was at Penn State Berks in the Academic Affairs Office where she assisted with faculty searches, Dean's List and academic awards. Prior to coming to Penn State, she worked for Purdue University in the Provost Business Office as an accounting clerk.
She is originally from Schuylkill County, but lived in Morris, IL and Lafayette, IN, then returned to Schuylkill County in 2007 and began her career at Penn State.
Lisa has been married to husband Mark since 2000. They currently have a one dog, a basset/beagle mix named Harry. She enjoys gardening/landscaping, reading, and home projects/crafting, and being outdoors.
