All parking at Penn State Schuylkill is free. If you have registered for an admission event, print your parking pass included in your registration receipt and display it on your dashboard. Visitors' parking is designated throughout campus.

General Driving Directions

Allentown, Pennsylvania

  • Take most convenient route to I-78 West
  • Take exit 29B (PA- 61 North, Pottsville)
  • The campus is located about fifteen minutes from the exit on University Drive. The campus and the main drive are on your right
  • Trip Time: Approximately 1 hour

Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

  • Take most convenient route to I-81 North toward Allentown/I-78
  • Continue on I-81 North to the I-78/I-81 split
  • Make a slight right to I-78 East (follow signs for I-78/Allentown)
  • Take exit 17 (PA-419)
  • Keep left at the fork, follow signs for Pottsville and merge onto Four Points Rd (PA-419)
  • Continue to follow PA-183 for approximately 10 miles
  • Make a right at Pottsville St. to continue to follow PA-183 (this turn is at a red light)
  • Make a right at PA-61, the next red light
  • The campus is located just a few minutes from your turn onto PA-61 on the left. You will pass through one additional red light after you turn onto PA-61. Make a left at the next red light, onto University Drive which has a left turn lane,.

  • Take I-78 East toward Allentown
  • Take exit 29B (PA-61 North, Pottsville)

  • Take the most convenient route to I-83 North
  • Take exit 51B to merge onto I-81 North toward Allentown/I-78

University Park, Pennsylvania

  • Take the most convenient route to I-80 East
  • Take I-80 East to Exit 33 (PA-54 South to Danville)
  • Follow Route 54 through Danville; it ends at Route 61 outside Mount Carmel.
  • Follow PA-61 South through Ashland, Frackville, Saint Clair, and Pottsville.
  • Outside of Pottsville, in Cressona will be a shopping center to your right. The campus is three traffic lights from this shopping center.
  • Make a left at the third red light, which has a left turn lane, onto University Drive.
  • Trip Time: Approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Pennsylvania

  • Take the most convenient route I-81 South
  • Take Exit 124A (PA-61 South to Pottsville)
  • Continue on PA-61 through Saint Clair and then Pottsville
  • Outside of Pottsville, in Cressona will be a shopping center to your right. The campus is three traffic lights from this shopping center.
  • Make a left at the third red light, which has a left turn lane, onto University Drive.
