The students in MGMT 345 visited CopenHill Ski Resort, which converts 440,000 tons of waste into clean energy annually while also serving as a ski slope.

On their tours of the Hydro facilities, the students met with managers to learn more about how Danish culture influences the workplace.

Gina Whalen, the faculty director for the online bachelor's in business from World Campus, and Ron Kelly, an assistant teaching professor of criminal justice at Penn State Schuylkill, led the students on the trip to Denmark.

World Campus students and students from the Schuylkill campus got to learn together and interact with other during the weeklong trip. “I started this trip with strangers and left with friends I felt like I had known my entire life," one student said.
