Students take a break from studying to pet a visiting therapy dog during the Libraries De-Stress Fest, which takes place this semester at various Libraries locations from Apr. 28 to May 8.

A visit to the statue of the Little Mermaid was among the cultural activities for the students on their visit to Copenhagen.

The students in MGMT 345 visited CopenHill Ski Resort, which converts 440,000 tons of waste into clean energy annually while also serving as a ski slope.

The students visited three Hydro facilities in Denmark for the immersive part of Management (MGMT 345).

On their tours of the Hydro facilities, the students met with managers to learn more about how Danish culture influences the workplace.

Gina Whalen, the faculty director for the online bachelor's in business from World Campus, and Ron Kelly, an assistant teaching professor of criminal justice at Penn State Schuylkill, led the students on the trip to Denmark.

World Campus students and students from the Schuylkill campus got to learn together and interact with other during the weeklong trip. “I started this trip with strangers and left with friends I felt like I had known my entire life," one student said. 

Penn State students from World Campus and the Schuylkill campus visited Copenhagen, Denmark, as part of their management course over spring break.
