Meet the Judges:

Rebecca Donohue

Rebecca Donohue owns a photography studio in the Walk In Art Center, where she specializes in high school senior portraits and small business branding. She started her business in the fall of 2019 - yes, mid pandemic - after getting laid off from her full-time job in marketing. After graduating from Blue Mountain High School, she earned a Bachelors of Fine Art in Photography, Art History, and Digital Art from Lycoming College. She is currently pursuing her Master of Education in Student Affairs in Higher Education at Kutztown University, and would love to eventually work toward a Doctorate. Her accomplishments include features in Good Housekeeping and QVC, being named one of the best senior portrait photographers in the world by SeniorStyleGuide, and winning the Republican Herald Readers' Choice Award for Best Photographer in Schuylkill County in 2022.

Jacqueline Dormer

Jacqueline Dormer was born and raised in Pottsville, Pennsylvania. Jacquie started her college career at Penn State Schuylkill and graduated from University Park with a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art with a concentration in photography. She spent her junior year of college in the The Junior Year in New York Program for The Arts at Hunter College in New York City. She is an award-winning photojournalist with more than 25 years of experience in the media industry. She worked for the Republican-Herald newspaper as a staff photojournalist, videographer and writer, capturing the heart of the community in Schuylkill County. Her images have been published nationally and internationally and have received numerous awards from the Pennsylvania Keystone Press Awards, including a national first place award from the Associated Press Sports Editors. Jacquie also worked as a photo editor at the The Associated Press in New York City editing hundreds of images from AP and member photographers on a daily basis for stories of national interest. Currently, she lives in Pottsville with her two rescued chihuahua’s Fluffy and Freddie, her favorite photo subjects.

Patricia Falco

Patricia Falco has won many prestigious juried competitions, has been published by local magazines, and she works with several tourism agencies on their digital campaigns. Her pieces have been displayed in several local galleries including The Allentown Art Museum, Goggle Works, Walk In Art Center, Yuengling Mansion, and Art Gallery of Hamburg. After earning her degree in Business Management and settling in Orwigsburg, Pat opened her own retail and service business. Pat believes in giving back to the community and has served as the president of the local business association and as a member of several board of directors. Along the way, she was awarded Schuylkill County’s Businesswoman of the Year. Pat’s photography is ever evolving. While her roots are in nature and landscape, she travels locally and afar, seeking out the history and beauty of the world around us. She began many years ago using film and processing in the dark room, and now prefers her digital mirrorless camera. Experimenting with different styles of photography (macro, street, still life, studio) helps stretch her imagination and boundaries. Because she believes education never ends, Pat travels both domestically and internationally to attend intensive photography workshops. Pat believes a photograph should tell a story, convey a feeling, and get the viewer involved.
