What is it really like to be a Penn State Schuylkill student? If you want to find out the answer to that question join us for one of our Lion for a Day programs. Our Lion for a Day programs are geared at students looking to start at Penn State Schuylkill Fall 2011 and the day is focused on you spending time with a current Penn State Schuylkill Student including the following agenda items:
A Campus Tour
Lunch in the Hidden Stream Cafe
A Talk with our Admissions Counselor
Attending a Real College Class
Each Lion for a Day program will highlight a real college class at Penn State Schuylkill. We offer a variety of subject areas for students to choose from including:
· Monday Feb. 21 (1pm-4:30pm) Featured Class: Astronomy
· Tuesday March 1 (1pm-5pm) Featured Class: Emerging Issues in Technology
· Tuesday March 17 (9am-1pm) Featured Class: Photography
· Friday April 8 (10:30am2pm) Featured Class: Infant & Child Development
· Friday April 22 (9:30am-1pm) Featured Class: History
Our Lion for a Day programs will each last several hours. We encourage family members to enjoy our local community while their student takes part in our program. Our staff would be happy to direct you on eating, shopping, and local attractions.
