On April 21, 2011 at 7:00 pm the Biology and Environmental Club and Penn State Schuylkill will sponsor Dr. Wes Grebski, Associate Professor of Engineering at Penn State Hazleton in honor of Earth Day. Dr. Grebski's presentation "Energy Sustainability" is free and open to the public and will be held in the Morgan Auditorium in the Student Community Center.
Dr. Grebski received his Ph.D. in Technical Sciences from the Stanislaw Staszic University of Mining and Metallurgy in Krakow, Poland in 1978 and joined Penn State as an engineering faculty member in 1984. He was honored with the highest award for faculty at Penn State, the Milton S. Eisenhower Award for Distinguished Teaching, in spring 2007. His research interests have evolved from vibration control to computer aided manufacturing. His current research is focused on alternative and sustainable forms of energy.
