Penn State Schuylkill announces two new campus scholarships, the Academic Excellence Award and the Honors Award. These scholarships are for students who have documented merit and are not based on financial need.
The Academic Excellence Award is for Penn State Schuylkill students who have documented merit based on a high school GPA of 2.7 or higher, SAT or ACT scores, and the student's evaluation index. This award ranges from $500 to $5,000 per academic year and can be renewed for subsequent years. This award can be combined with other grants and scholarships.
The Honors Award is for Penn State Schuylkill students who are enrolled in the Penn State Schuylkill Honors Program or Schreyer Honors College at Penn State Schuylkill. Ten students will be chosen for this award and will receive $5,000 per academic year for a total of $20,000 over four (4) years. This scholarship is in addition to other scholarships and awards the student may be receiving.
