The April Religious and Philosophical Forum at Penn State Schuylkill is scheduled for noon on Friday, April 25, 2014 in the R. Michael Fryer Conference Center.
Dr. Edward B. David, distinguished professor of the history of science, Messiah College, Mechanicsburg, PA, will present "Why history matters: Debunking the "Warfare" view of science and religion." The public is welcome and encouraged to attend this free program.
Several organizations have provided financial support for the series, including: the Council of Churches of Schuylkill Haven and Vicinity; Saint Marks United Church of Christ, Schuylkill Haven; and the Student Activity Funds of Penn State Schuylkill. The series also receives financial support from individuals and appreciates all contributions to the program.
