The campus community has been preparing for new student arrival, and freshmen move-in begins on Friday, August 22 at 9:00 a.m.
The staff in the Student Affairs office has developed an exciting weekend of activities, called We are...Weekend '14! These activities are designed to make our students' transition to Penn State Schuylkill, and to college, as smooth as possible. Students will begin with housing registration and move-in. They'll enjoy a nice meal with their families and staff, meet their orientation leaders, and then parents will have an opportunity to ask any questions that they may have.
After families depart and say their final goodbyes, students will be kept busy all weekend, meeting new people, participating in fun activities like karaoke and a luau, and also learning how to be successful at Penn State Schuylkill.
The schedule of events will be available during the check-in process.
