SCHUYLKILL HAVEN, Pa. — Penn State Schuylkill had 10 standout student-athletes named to the Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) All-Decade teams for 2010-2020 in their respective sports. The All-Decade teams include eligible student-athletes who competed in intercollegiate athletics in PSUAC championship sports and whose excellence on the field garnered conference recognition during their years of competition.

PSUAC 2010’s All-Decade Team: Softball
Stephanie Killian, 2015-2018
Stephanie Killian, from Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania, is Penn State Schuylkill's all-time leader in hits. A four-year starter in left field and shortstop, Killian posted 158 hits in four seasons, including a record 58 in 2018. In 360 at-bats she had 111 runs batted in (RBI), and a career .439 batting average. Killian was a three-time PSUAC All-Conference selection and a United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) All-American First-Team selection in 2018. Killian was also a member of the 2018 PSUAC East Division Championship team.
Erin Luckenbill, 2015-2018
Erin Luckenbill, from Mar Lin, Pennsylvania, is one of the most decorated members of the Penn State Schuylkill softball program. A four-year starter at first base, Luckenbill is a member of the 100-Hit Club with 144 career hits and Schuylkill’s home run leader with 21 career home runs. Luckenbill wrapped up four seasons with a .434 batting average and 153 runs batted in (RBI). She is one of only three players at Penn State Schuylkill to be selected as PSUAC All-Conference and USCAA All-American in all four seasons of competition. Luckenbill was also a member of the 2018 PSUAC East Division Championship team.
Makenna Rushannon, 2016-2018
Makenna Rushannon, from Pottsville, Pennsylvania, was a three-year starter in center field for the Lady Lions. She is a member of the 100-Hit Club and is Penn State Schuylkill's all-time stolen base leader with 62 career stolen bases. Rushannon was also a defensive stalwart with a .962 career fielding percentage (FPCT). Rushannon was twice named to the PSUAC All-Conference team and was a USCAA All-American Honorable Mention selection in 2018. She also excelled academically and was named three times to the USCAA All-Academic Team by earning a 3.5 or greater GPA. Rushannon was also a member of the 2018 PSUAC East Division Championship team.
PSUAC 2010’s All-Decade Team: Baseball
Chris Kreider, 2014-2017
In fall 2013, Eastern Lebanon County High School's Chris Kreider became the first recruit to commit to the new Penn State Schuylkill baseball program. Kreider was a linchpin of the early successes of the Schuylkill team that played their first season in 2014. As a freshman, Kreider led the USCAA with 10 home runs, earning the respect of opposing pitchers. He served as a team captain for three seasons and earned three PSUAC First Team All-Conference honors and an Honorable Mention nod throughout his career. Kreider was a two-time USCAA First Team All-American and Honorable Mention selection. Kreider holds Penn State Schuylkill records for the number of games played, runs scored, career and season runs batted in (RBI), career triples, total bases, home runs (career, season, game), on-base percentage (OPB), and career on-base plus slugging (OPS).
Matthew Roberts, 2015-2018
Tamaqua High School graduate Matt Roberts joined the Schuylkill baseball team in spring 2015 and had an immediate impact at the catching position. In his four seasons of play, Roberts filled various on-field positions including, first and third base and pitching. Roberts earned PSUAC All-Conference First Team honors each year from 2015 to 2017 and received an Honorable Mention nod in 2018. In 2017, Roberts was named PSUAC Player of the Year as a two-way player — he often caught and pitched complete games on the same day. Roberts also received USCAA All-American Honors each of his four seasons, including a First Team selection and two Second Team awards. He holds Schuylkill career records in at-bats, hits, doubles, batting average, and as a pitcher, the lowest season earned run average (ERA). Tragically, Roberts passed away in the winter of 2018, just a few months after graduating. He will always be remembered as one of Penn State Schuylkill baseball's greatest players.
Guy Visconti, 2014-2017
Guy Visconti traveled from Henderson, Nevada, to join the Penn State Schuylkill baseball team in his second year. Visconti holds Schuylkill records for both offensive and defensive play, and in three seasons, proved challenging to both opposing batters and pitchers. He is a career leader in runs and stolen bases and the season record holder for runs, singles, and stolen bases. On the hill, he holds career records in the number of complete games, wins, and walks per nine innings. Visconti led the USCAA in stolen bases for two seasons and earned three PSUAC All-Conference honors, including two times as a First Team selection. He was also twice named a USCAA Second Team All-American.
PSUAC 2010’s All-Decade Team: Women’s Soccer
Alyssa Gerber, 2017-present
A three-sport standout from Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania, Alyssa Gerber was a candidate for PSUAC All-Decade Teams in basketball, soccer, and softball. She earned a spot on the All-Decade Women's Soccer Team after being named Newcomer of the Year and First-Team All-Conference during her first season. In 2018, Gerber received the John Fritz Sportsmanship Award and an Honorable Mention on the 2019 PSUAC All-Conference Women’s Soccer Team. Additionally, Gerber was a PSUAC First-Team selection in both women's basketball and softball. Gerber also earned an Honorable Mention nod in 2020 for the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) All-Conference Women’s Basketball Team. Gerber was named to the PSUAC All-Senior team for 2021-2021. However, due to COVID-19 and losing a year of playing eligibility, Gerber will be returning as a Lady Lion for the 2021-22 basketball and softball seasons.
Angelica "Jelly" Kaledas, 2016-2017
Hailing from Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania, Angelica “Jelly” Kaledas scored 32 goals in just two seasons at Penn State Schuylkill and added 14 assists for a total of 78 points in just 28 games played. Kaledas had six game-winning goals during her career. Kaledas was a PSUAC First-Team All-Conference in 2016 and a United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) First-Team All-American in 2017.
PSUAC 2010's All-Decade Team: Men's Basketball
Kody Jacoby, 2016-2018
Salisbury, Maryland, native Kody Jacoby holds the record as Penn State Schuylkill's all-time leading scorer in men's basketball with 1,316 career points. After transferring from Delaware Technical Community College during the 2016 season, Jacoby began racking up double-digit numbers in at least two offensive statistical categories per game; in his final season, Jacoby was averaging a "triple-double." Jacoby was named PSUAC First-Team All-Conference in 2017 and 2018 and USCAA First-Team All-American in 2017. In the 2018 season, Jacoby averaged just under 30 points per game and was named the PSUAC Player of the Year. Jacoby earned a 3.0 cumulative GPA throughout his playing career and a place on the PSUAC All-Academic Team. Jacoby went on to play professionally in the American Basketball Association (ABA) with the Baltimore Hawks.
PSUAC 2010's All-Decade Team: Cross-Country
Alexis Luna, 2017-2018
Alexis Luna, from Shenandoah, Pennsylvania, was back-to-back PSUAC individual champion in women’s cross-country in 2017 and 2018 and an integral part of the championship teams each of those years. During her two seasons as a Lady Lion, Luna was named PSUAC Runner of the Week multiple times and earned the top spot on the PSUAC All-Conference team in 2017 and 2018. She also received the John Fritz Sportsmanship Award for the 2018 season. Luna was not just the lead runner out on the course; she excelled in the classroom as well. She maintained a 3.0, or better, GPA, earning PSUAC All-Academic recognition, and graduated with a degree in radiological sciences.
