The three-acre Pollinator and Bird Garden at The Arboretum at Penn State, on the University Park campus, is one of numerous garden spaces at The Arboretum at Penn State, one of seven founding campuses in the Commonwealth Arboreta Network. The goal of the network is to create an arboretum at each of the 24 Commonwealth campuses
Penn State Berks, one of seven founding members of the Commonwealth Arboreta Network, boasts a rich variety of trees, thanks to its location on the former Janssen family estate. Approximately 30 acres have been designated as the Center for Agriculture and a Sustainable Environment, serving as a hub for a four-acre plant collection geared towards teaching.
The Penn State Schuylkill campus, one of seven founding members of the Commonwealth Arboreta Network, earned the first step of accreditation, a Level I, from the Interactive Community of Arboreta (ArbNet), the international accreditation program for arboreta, in April 2023.
