Corporate communication students from Penn State Scranton and Penn State Hazleton collaborated on a class project that resulted in the first-ever Corporate Communication Day event for the northeast Penn State campuses.

On April 4, Penn State Schuylkill played host to the third annual LionLaunch Business Plan Competition, a part of the Invent Penn State initiative. This year $16,000 was awarded to up and coming local businesses to help spur economic growth in Schuylkill County.
