Penn State Schuylkill students have tons of opportunities to interact with the community, and Safe Trick or Treat is a campus favorite! Each year, student clubs, organizations, and academic groups dress up for Halloween, hand out candy, and set up fun and engaging activities for little ones in a safe, family-friendly environment.

In the fall 2021 semifinals match, Penn State Schuylkill's women's volleyball team pulled a 3-1 upset win over undefeated PSUAC rival Mont Alto, later challenging Penn State Greater Allegheny in the final championship match at University Park's Rec Hall. Though Penn State Greater Allegheny earned the title, our student athletes are definitely champions.

A Penn State education can change your life by taking you to another country! Marla Stoner, left, and Alyssa Hatter, right, traveled to Costa Rica through Penn State's CHANCE program where they conducted conservation research and immersed themselves in a new culture.

Did you know that Penn State Schuylkill is really close to Knoebels Amusement Park? If you take a class with Dr. Michael Gallis, associate professor of Physics, you may just travel there to learn the "physics of thrills," one of Schuylkill students' favorite field trips! For students who don't endeavor to take a physics class, day trip getaways to the amusement park happen often, too.
