  • Representatives from businesses and organizations work together to increase cybersecurity knowledge and capacity across the region.
  • The consortium is led by Dr. Joseph Squillace, assistant teaching professor of cybersecurity at Penn State Schuylkill.

Why is it needed?

  • Organize and participate in cybersecurity training and education programs.
  • Identify professional development needs of working cybersecurity professionals.
  • Identify internship/co-op opportunities for cybersecurity students to increase the number of professionals across the region.
  • Secure government funding to increase cybersecurity capacity and infrastructure across the region.
