Marianne Adam, associate teaching professor in the College of Nursing at Penn State Schuylkill, is researching the impact of opioid addiction on families with a project titled "Families Forging a Path to Treatment for Opioid Addiction." The project’s main focus is to better understand the perspectives of the affected individual’s family.

Penn State Schuylkill will host the PA Breast Cancer Coalition's traveling photo exhibit, "67 Women, 67 Counties," from Oct. 8 to 20. The exhibit showcases the faces of breast cancer across the Commonwealth while promoting the importance of screening mammograms for early detection in women.
