Penn State Schuylkill’s Theatre 282 students and Nittany Players will present “You Matter,” an original production about suicide prevention, at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10. The production is made possible through collaboration with Schuylkill Women in Crisis.
Entrepreneurs across the University will pitch their business ideas and create inventive solutions to common problems through a series of competitions and challenges held during Penn State Startup Week from April 1-5. The challenges are at the heart of Startup Week’s mission of teaching and inspiring participants to make innovation a part of their lives, communities and careers, either by starting their own companies or bringing a problem-solving approach to established organizations.
Thirteen students from three campuses observed National Nutrition Month in a fitting way: traveling to Honduras for a spring break service learning trip through Healthy Niños Honduras, a Pennsylvania-based organization that focuses on helping children with malnutrition.
