The Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History will feature a virus close-up (on the microscopic level). Penn State Schuylkill will host the new exhibit, “Outbreak: Epidemics in a Connected World,” for a three-month period beginning Oct. 1.

Join us for this special event related to the Smithsonian Natural History Museum's "Outbreak" pop-up exhibit in the Ciletti Memorial Library.

Special guest speaker Mike Wiley, who works for the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases, will speak about the work he and his colleagues conduct surveilling Ebola on the African continent.

This event is free and open to the public.
