The Office of Community Engagement offers professional development programs to help individuals, employees, and employers in business, industry, education and other fields to keep pace with their ever-changing training and educational needs.
LionLaunch, part of Penn State's Invent Penn State entrepreneurship initiative, is Penn State Schuylkill's premiere entrepreneurship program, designed to help budding entrepreneurs by providing informational courses, competitions for start-up money and office space for local innovators.
Our professional development programs provide working adults with an opportunity to advance their careers, seek new careers, prepare for licensure and re-licensure, improve professional skills or increase their knowledge. If you are facing new challenges, we can help you get ahead and stay ahead with educational activities that are designed to bring you greater personal or professional satisfaction and growth.
Penn State Schuylkill isn't just for students who have completed high school. In fact, we have available programming for students of all ages. We offer summer youth academies for elementary through middle school students, and also feature courses for high schoolers, including SAT prep courses and dual enrollment courses that provide students with opportunities to earn college credits at a discount while still in high school.
