After Admission...

Now that you've been offered admission, what are your next steps?

Accept your Offer of Admission to reserve your spot at Penn State Schuylkill

  • Once you have received an Offer of Admission, your next step is to accept the offer, which informs the University that you intend to enroll. Students accept their offer by paying a $230 enrollment fee.
  • Acceptance fees can by paid with a credit or debit card through your MyPennState account, or by returning your acceptance form with a check made payable to "The Pennsylvania State University."

    Financial Aid

    In order to be considered for any type of financial aid, students must have a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file. Please click the link above to get started on financial aid. 


    On-campus housing is required for students whose home is more than fifty miles from Penn State Schuylkill. After students accept their Offer of Admission, they will receive a housing offer. Click on the link above for more information. This process begins February 1 (for fall semester), and October 1 (for spring semester). There is a $100 security deposit to reserve housing.

    Academic Advising

    After you have paid your acceptance fee you will begin to work with the Office of Academic Advising.

    • First-year students will need to take placement tests and attend an New Student Orientation (NSO) Session.
    • Transfer students will need to contact Academic Advising to set up an appointment to create their first Penn State class schedule.
