Transfer Students

It's never too late to change your mind.

Many students begin their education at an institution that they later learn is not the best fit for them. Some students may have earned an associate's degree at another college or university, but ultimately want to earn their bachelor's degree.

Penn State Schuylkill offers an excellent opportunity for students to continue with their education through transfer admission. Transferring to Penn State Schuylkill may provide a significant cost savings while also providing students an opportunity to earn a Penn State degree. Whether you choose to earn your degree from Penn State Schuylkill or participate in our 2+2 plan and graduate from another Penn State campus, including University Park, Penn State Schuylkill may just be the right place for you.

Are you considered a Transfer Student?

If you have completed eighteen or more credits post-high school graduation, you will be considered a transfer student.

Will your credits transfer?

We can help you determine how transfer credits may work into a Penn State degree. The first step in this process is to use our online transfer credit tool. If you still have questions after evaluating your credits with this tool please contact our Office of Admission to set up an appointment with admissions/academic advising.

In order to be considered for admission, transfer students must complete an application and request official high school and college transcripts to be sent directly to:
