Clinical site:  Pottsville Hospital, Good Samaritan Pottsville, Good Samaritan Lebanon, Sunbury

  • RADSC 295-01   chest
  • RADSC 295-02   10 cores including: portable chest, acute abdomen series (Flat and Upright)
  • RADSC 295-03   11 cores including: L-spine, tips
  • RADSC 295-04   7 cores including: L-spine......... 1 elective
  • RADSC 295-05   8 cores including: IVP, sinuses, tips.........2 electives
  • RADSC 295-06   10 cores including: BE with air, mandible, one OR..........2 electives

Clincal site:  Hershey

  • RADSC 295-01   chest
  • RADSC 295-02   10 cores including: portable chest, acute abdomen series (Flat and Upright), NICU Chest, NICU abdomen, SICU chest,  PICU chest          
  • RADSC 295-03   11 cores including: trauma C-spine, pedi GI or BE, myelogram, pedi chest (under 2)
  • RADSC 295-04   7 cores including: SICU chest.........1 elective
  • RADSC 295-05   8 cores including: IVP, sinuses, trauma C-spine, pedi GI or BE, NICU chest, NICU abdomen,  PICU chest.........2 electives
  • RADSC 295-06   10 cores including: BE with air, mandible, myelogram, one OR, pedi chest (under 2).........2 electives

Clinical Site:  All

  • RADSC 295-07   mammo,  scoliosis,  trauma,  trauma extremity,  multicase study,  venipuncture,  other OR,  1 from each category (I-VII) listed on RADSC 295-07 competency evaluation record

Guidelines:

  • all five tips must be completed before BEAC comp is obtained
  • techs do not routinely tip at HMC; be sure to get tips elsewhere
  • myelograms are not routine at all sites besides HMC; get this comp while at HMC
  • abdomen comp must include diaphragm film
  • L-spine at HMC is only two views, therefore you must get your comp elsewhere
  • a multicase study is at least three different exams on the same patient at the same time and does not include comparison views
