Participation in student organizations provides students with an opportunity to build connections, network within the community, plan activities, and gain practical experience that complements the academic programs.
Penn State Schuylkill offers many opportunities for students to join clubs and organizations. With more than thirty organizations to choose from, students can almost always find something that interests them. New clubs can also be established based on the interests of current students. If you are interested in creating a new organization, visit the Student Activities office to pick up a "Starting an Organization" packet. The Anime Club
The Anime Club enjoys watching Japanese animations through examining films and providing discussions.
Biology & Environmental Club
The Biology & Environmental Club promotes recycling and helps to lead the discussion opportunities to improve the environment.
Blue & White Society
The Blue & White Society is the student organization of the Alumni Society. The Blue & White Society supports The Pennsylvania State University and its future, current, and past students and friends of the University.
The Business Club provides opportunities for out-of-class involvement and networking. The club offers opportunities to gain experience in the business field as well as make contacts with responsible business leaders.
Community Service Club
The Community Service Club works on varied projected to help and serve non-profit organizations and their clients, as well as, the local area, around the campus, and in the county. Past events include: Bartram Trail clean-up, bingo and activities at local nursing facilities and collection drives.
The Criminal Justice Club provides out-of-class experiences for students that complement their academic programs including trips, lectures, and special speakers.
Faith Alive provides opportunities for study and discussion of the Bible, as well as, worship, prayer, fellowship, encouragement and spiritual development.
Fatal Attraction uses fashion and modeling as a way to express school spirit, while allowing student to be introduced to a new style of runway.
The Game Room Club offers a wide variety of indoor game activities to students.
International & Diversity Club
The International & Diversity Club recognizes and shares the many ethnicities and cultures placed within our campus community.
The Information, Science and Technology Club provides students with exposure to emerging technology. The club assists students in becoming aware of opportunities within the technology field.
Keystone Honor Society
The Keystone Honor Society recognizes students with exemplary academic records, as well as outstanding service to the community.
Knit & Purl Club
Knit & Purl is a club designed to teach the art of knitting and crocheting. Students are also provided a service learning opportunity.
Library Student Advisory Board
The Library Advisory Board advises and helps promote the library programs. This group sponsors fundraisers to support and improve initiatives on campus.
Lion Ambassadors assist with student recruitment and are goodwill ambassadors for Penn State. This organization assists with all the Open Houses.
Men of Excellence (MOE)
The Men of Excellence was created to establish a brotherhood among male campus students with core values of scholarship and retention. The objective is to impact the community by utilizing the diverse talents and demonstrating the core principles of its members.
National Society of Leadership
The National Society of Leadership builds leaders by offering in-person leadership development and peer-to-peer networking for students. The Society also helps individuals discover and achieve their goals. The society offers life-changing lectures from the nation's leading presenters and a community where like-minded, success-oriented individuals come together and help one another succeed. They also serve as a powerful force of good in the greater community by encouraging and organizing action to better the world.
The Nittany Players, Penn State Schuylkill's Drama Club, presents musicals, plays, and attends theater workshops and events that promote understanding and involvement in theater arts.
The LGBTQA Alliance of Penn State Schuylkill plans and promotes programs and initiatives that support a safe environment for all students.
The Psychology Club assists students with an interest in psychology. The club develops skills that will complement the academic programs, as well as provide opportunities for networking and application of classroom theories.
Quiet Storm Step Team
The Quiet Storm Step Team encourages and enhances performance, self-respect, self-esteem, and pride.
The Radiology Club enhances members' education by attending workshops, seminars, and conferences.
Religious and Philosophical Forum (RAPF)
RAPF explores the interaction between Western philosophy and religion. The forum offers the opportunity for a continuous dialogue to explore basic issues in religion and philosophy.
The Spanish Club enhances the educational development of its members, provides out of class educational experience relating to the Spanish language and culture and provides service to the University community.
Student Programming Board (SPB)
Student Programming Broad members assist with planning, promoting and developing special events and programs through the Office of Student Activities.
Student Government Association (SGA)
The Student Government Association represents students' interests and concerns to administration and provides information and awareness for student issues.
Urban Elite Dancers
Urban Elite Dancers create and perform modern, ballet, hip hop, and other forms of dance, allowing a chance to share artistic expression to students and the campus.
The Voices of Praise
The Voices of Praise provides an outlet of inspiration/gospel music to students, displaying talent within the campus and surrounding community.
THON is the largest student-run philanthropy in the world that strives to raise money towards the fight against pediatric cancer. The effort engages more than 15,000 students across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in hopes of finding a cure.
We Are Radio Club
The We Are Radio Club was established to enable students to utilize their public relations and communication skills in order to better market and promote events on campus. The club develops programming that brings about awareness on a variety of issues relating to higher education and college students.
Winter Sports Club
The Winter Sports Club offers a wide variety of winter sports activities to campus students.
Women in Leadership Development (W.I.L.D.)
Women in Leadership Development was created to establish a sisterhood among female campus students with core values of educating students related to the gender and sex.
Youth Empowerment Program (YEP)
The Youth Empowerment Program targets vulnerable inner city youth who possess leadership potential, but lack opportunities to develop them in a positive way.
